ALPHAD calculates alpha hindrance factors and theoretical half-lives, and for even–even ground-state to ground-state transitions, determines the nuclear radius parameter r0 using Preston’s spin-independent formalism (M. A. Preston, Phys. Rev. 71, 865 (1947)).
Operating System:
Windows, Linux
ALPHAD_RadD v1.0 is an extension of the original ALPHAD program, based on Preston’s spin-independent formalism. The code automatically deduces the radius parameter r0 for odd-A and odd-odd alpha emitters by interpolation or extrapolation using a recent evaluated r0 data set (2020Si16) for ground-state to ground-state alpha transitions in 186 even–even nuclei, followed by the deduction of alpha hindrance factors.
Operating System:
Windows, Linux
RadD deduces the nuclear radius parameter for odd-A and odd-odd nuclei using evaluated even–even radii as input parameters. The code forms part of the ENSDF Analysis and Utility Programs.
